Background
For the campaign "Save your car!", the city of Mannheim, in cooperation with the Climate Protection Agency and other well-known companies, was able to motivate several households to leave their cars behind from April to June. In Mannheim you can do without a car! Instead, participating citizens can use a VRN ticket, a cargo bike, car sharing and the VRNnextBikes.
The action is accompanied online, so the participants record daily the kilometers covered, the reason for the route, means of transport used, their mood and have the option to enter comments and reports with pictures.
