The campaign "Stay true to your cup" shows how this goes together. This is a campaign by the city of Mannheim in cooperation with the Mannheim Climate Protection Agency. "Stay true to your cup" is being carried out as part of the city's climate protection campaign "Mannheim on a climate course".

Unbelievable, but true... approx. 32,000 disposable cups are used every day in Mannheim alone for an average of 15 minutes of to-go enjoyment. The result is clogged waste garbage cans and polluted streets and green spaces. The current campaign "Stay true to your cup!" shows that this can easily be saved in terms of form and volume. In all participating cafés and bakeries, the "Bleib Deinem Becher treu!" reusable cups can be purchased, filled and exchanged quickly and easily. This creates a closed loop that contributes very effectively to waste reduction in the city of Mannheim. Campaigns in the form of photo competitions and information events invite the general public to simply get involved in this issue. Contents, goals and actions are communicated on the website.
