Brain Appeal in the Home Office: Work in Times of the Coronavirus

Like many other companies, we have also switched to a home office. But what is it like to work permanently from home?

The Corona pandemic is putting our world, and with it our everyday working lives, in a state of emergency that has never been seen before. As many people as possible should avoid social contact in order to reduce the rate of infection. This presents both employees and employers with new challenges.

Thanks to our well-organized digital infrastructure, we were able to respond quickly to the changing conditions and enable our employees to work from home in a home office. So Brain Appeal's daily work routine runs as usual - only digitally: Meetings take place via video conferencing instead of the usual meeting room, and we even don't skip the weekly Friday breakfast!

Nevertheless, we are looking forward to the time when we can hand each other the good and fresh rolls from the bakery as usual and exchange ideas in person;-)

Despite the difficult times we are well connected and in exchange with many colleges and universities. There is also great news about this: DHBW and Weincampus Neustadt are now using Campus Match, our applicant exchange!

We are happy that, despite the difficult situation, we are so well positioned, both digitally and in terms of personnel, that working from home almost doesn't restrict us at all, except for a few small things.

As before, we're keeping our heads up and continuing to go full throttle!
